A Note About the Future of Convergence Theatre Company

Convergence Theatre Company will be taking a year-long pause from producing as we explore options for the future.

After thoughtful consideration, CTC has decided to separate from operating under the umbrella of Yuba Sutter Arts & Culture. This next year will be a time for reflection, restructuring, and planning what the next chapter of Convergence might look like.

CTC is deeply grateful for the opportunities and support Yuba Sutter Arts & Culture has provided over the years. Their partnership helped make it possible for Convergence to grow and produce work that served our community. We’re also glad that Yuba Sutter Arts & Culture will continue offering theatrical programming as part of their mission in the Yuba-Sutter region.

 

As one of the founders and the Artistic Director of CTC, I remain proud of what we’ve built together—and excited about what could come next.

In the meantime, we’re encouraged by the continued growth of the arts in the Yuba-Sutter area, and we look forward to supporting that momentum however we can.
