Convergence Theatre Company

was formed in 2022 as an arm of Yuba Sutter Arts & Culture, with a mission to inspire curiosity, awareness, and understanding through high-quality theatre that engages with meaningful social themes.

 

Since our founding, CTC has produced work ranging from intimate, character-driven plays to ambitious musicals - always with an emphasis on strong storytelling, thoughtful artistry, and community impact.

 

We believe theatre has a unique ability to bring people together in a time when division often feels easier than dialogue. Rather than retreating into echo chambers, CTC exists to create shared experiences that invite reflection, empathy, and conversation. We are committed to “seeking first to understand, then to be understood,” and to fostering spaces where complex ideas can be explored with respect, nuance, and humanity.

 

At its core, Convergence is about connection: the convergence of different perspectives, beliefs, and life experiences. We’re grateful for every artist, audience member, and community partner who has joined us so far—and we remain hopeful about what’s ahead, both for CTC and for the growing artistic scene in the Yuba-Sutter region.
